The first meeting of Kirkcaldy Photographic Society took place on Tuesday 8th Of November 1898 and it has been going strong ever since. We aim to provide a meeting point for people with an interest in photography and cover all areas and levels in a very informal environment. As well as holding training nights and inviting guest speakers along we have a club outing once a month to various locations in Fife. There are also several competitions held through out the year .
We hope you enjoy browsing our website and hope to see you at one of our meetings soon. If you have any questions or comments please get in touch, it would be great to hear from you.
Our Meetings take place on Monday evenings (Sept - May) between 19.30 and 21.30 at the

THE SECRET IS OUT AT LAST!!
Long-term member STEWART RUSSELL has been awarded the ultimate accolade - he has
been included on the SPF Roll Of Honour, for his services to this club over the last
40 years.
On Sat 14th April 2012, Libby Smith attended our Annual Exhibition, with the secret
agenda of surprising Stewart with his award. Only a very small handfull of the Committee
were in on the secret, which was only confirmed to the Club a matter of days ahead
of the exhibition.
There were 60+ members, friends and visitors in attendance when the surprise was
sprung.
Libby gave us a warm speech, detailing Stewart’s services over the years, emphasising
that only very few of these awards are given to individuals for service to a SINGLE
club.
Stewart was so overwhelmed he could barely manage a ‘thank you’. Fortunately he
recovered enough to receive the many congratulations from club members after the
ceremony.
I’m sure that all club members would like to join me in congratulating Stewart on
this award.
